You have put your team together and are excited to get started. You have already gone through the process of searching for your tournaments, ordering uniforms, and making your game and practice schedule. Uh oh, now you need to contact everyone again and have them bring each players copy of birth certificate, school grade/age verification form, photo, and whatever documents may be required. Oh yeah, you also have to get that team insurance and carry that with you. You now have gathered all the material after painstakingly asking for it numerous times, and now have to find that one spot in your car that you know the folder will always be. You now go to your local copy center to make secondary copies just in case the first set is lost, left in the rain, or at an event. You are now not only the coach, but have to worry about all of the player documentation, not to mention getting them there on time, and actually preparing for a game. Don’t lose it, or it is back to square one!

Many of us have been through this time and time again. That time is about to be over. Youth Sports ID has created an online portal to allow your players to upload all of this information into a secure area that can be accessed anytime.

You would simply sign up as a coach or team manager…which is FREE, fill out the necessary information and go from there. You will be able to “request” a player or players to add to your roster. Once requested, an email goes to that player contact and they simply have to “approve” the request. That players information will appear in your roster area fully populated with the necessary information and documentation. You can access it from anywhere at anytime since it is online. You can even upload your team insurance information as well, and email your team from one location. Everything in one convenient place that can be updated or edited whenever you want.

How do I get the information to the Tourney/Event/League Director?

The same way you requested your players to populate your roster, however it will be a request one of two ways. When you find the tourney within YSID, you will be able to register and pay for the tourney. Once you accomplish this, your team information, as well as all roster information is automatically populated into the Director view. The Second way would be from a tournament director "inviting" you to the tournament. Once you are invited, you will simply have to “approve” the request and your team information will populate into his/her tournament portal for verification.
